Stridente Records is a record label founded in 2010, dedicated to electronic and hybrid music.

The name Stridente — Italian for ‘strident, jarring’ — captures our passion for contrast.

We release records, support artists in developing their music and identity, and curate live events.

We publish a quarterly newsletter and produce the #StridenteMeets video interview series.

The ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME covers all stages of a project, from developing your tracks to presenting them online and in a live setting.

It includes production support, artwork, online distribution and release setup, promotion via our channels, a live showcase at our events, a feature in the quarterly newsletter, opportunities for radio airplay, and the chance to build useful connections within the scene.

Stridente is run by Angelo (aka Ssick), a British-Italian musician, producer and educator based in South Wales. As an artist and curator, he brings together music and community through the label’s work.
